Description:
An unusual variation of the Walther Model PP. This is a Manurhin Model PP, caliber .22lr, made in France. Serial number is 13870LR, possibly late 50s or early 60s manufacture.
All postwar Walthers were assembled in West Germany with parts made by Manurhin in France, This gun however was completed in France, and sold under the Manurhin brand. The left side of the slide reads: "Manufacture de Machines Du Haut-Rhin, Lic. Excl. Walther Mod. PP Cal. .22lr, with the Manurhin logo. The barrel is stamped "St. Etienne"with a small crown proofmark. Serial number appears on the right side of the frame. A small import mark is also on the right side of the fram, "TC IMP WPB-FL".The black plastic grips are marked Manurhin, and read "Lic. Walther. PP" on the bottom.
This pistol is in excellent used condition. Bore is bright. The gun shoots great, watch our video at our YouTube channel, Fernwood Armory TV.
The orginal box with serial number label on the side is included. Box is in fair condition. Also included are two original manuals, one in German, the other in English. There are two 10 round magazines with the gun, one with the finger extension. Both are marked "France".
