Description:
SALE PENDING A beautiful high condition Model 90 Winchester Pump Rifle chambered in 22 Short that was made in 1927. Original factory blue on the barrel and magazine tube is 99%+. The original factory blueing is brilliant. Original receiver blue has the typical fading or flaking of the period with the only wear on the top and bottom tang. The top and bottom tang also appear to have lost the blueing, not from handling the rifle. Notice how sharp the serial number is on the bottom and the Winchester Patent  and proofs are on the top. All the metal edges are sharp, including the barrel flats without blueing loss.  Looking down the barrel flats from the reciever end, the original blueing is like a mirror on all the flats. Stocks are very nice in the original varnish with no cracks or repairs and very few handling marks. All wood to metal fit is proud, as it left from the factory and has not been tampered with. Blued butt plate has about 70% blue. Bore and mechanics are as new with hardly any evidence of having been fired. Clean crisp lines inside the action show the original finish and minimum of wear. Bore is excellent and shiny, as new. Muzzle crown is beautiful with original sights front and back. An exceptional 3rd model 90 for the advanced Winchester collector. Shipped from FFL to FFL or C&R. USPS Priority mail is 35.00
