This is an incredible 1874 Sharps midrange rifle that has been in my personal collection for over 20 years. It is chambered in 40-70 Sharps. It is super unusual in that it is a smaller scale overall. It has an octagon barrel with 95% of it's original blue finish, and the receiver has much of it's very attractive orignal case color. The wood is spectacular, with a pistolgrip and wonderful checkering, and has a rich medium color and almost all of it's finish. It has an uncommon chesckered trigger and nickel cresent buttplate. And as icing on the cake, it has a vernier long range tang sight and front windage globe sight. This is a rare find that is in beautiful condition and would add to any collection.
