Winchester Model 97 12 ga Take Down
Offering this 12 ga Winchester Model 97 take down model, serial # 829479. Regrettably the barrel extension bears a different serial number # 819867. The good news is that tolerances were so tight in the manufacture of these shotguns that it matters not from a function and reliability stand point. There is no looseness or slop. The barrel is 30 inches long with no defects inside. The butt stock is uncut and has a steel butt plate. There are no cracks chips or significant gouges or dings in the wood. The exterior finish does show some wear and dings from use probably an old re-blue. Gun functions perfectly and shoots well. A great gun to tweak up for Cowboy action or just hunt and use as intended.
