Interesting in that it is in the 4th type serial number range but has the E. Whitney barrel address. Generally fine condition overall retaining 85% original nickel on the bbl, frame, hammer and triggerguard; traces of case colors on loading lever. Nice grips with great cartouche, excellent mechanically. Plain cylinder. A fine Civil War Era Whitney.
