Quality Consignments Wanted! This rifle was produced in 1943. The Winchester's serial number is 1287240. This is an all complete Winchester. All of the parts are correct Winchester including the barrel. This rifle does show war use. The stock has an arsenal repair forward of the magazine housing. The stock has the correct G.H.D. W.R,A. stamp on the stock. There is also a ordnance "Wheel" next to the stamp. The receiver and trigger guard has been redipped long ago. The barrel has the original finish. The rifle has the single slot gas nut and has not been altered to use grenade launcher. The front sight is the correct Winchester sight. The operating rod has not been "CUT" or filled in. There are no accessories in the buttstock trap door. The sling is a original 1945 datedsling. The bore is bright and clean. This is a very nice Winchester Garand that is very hard to find in all Winchester condition. This rifle should appeal to the military collector. Search for hlvfineguns on google.
