Description:
This unique example is a .25 caliber rimfire single shot pistol with two blades, a 3 1/2 inch and a 2 1/2". The larger blade has "Self Protector" etched on it and still visible. There is a 3 1/2" barrel, and a nice bright finish. The barrel is marked “UNWIN & RODGERS/PATENTEES. SHEFFIELD” on the left flat, and marked “NON*XLL” on the right flat. Cocking the hammer opens the breech for loading/unloading with the ears on the extractor acting as a rear sight. Someone engraved the numbers 9RS4148 in front of the trigger. The horn slabs are in very good condition with a small crack next to a pin on the left scale. Very Good Condition.
