This is a beautiful and unusual pistol. It is beautifully engraved and retains 98% of it's original nickel finish. It has a tube magazine under the barrel that holds the ammo. It feeds, chambers and ejects cartridges when you cock the hammer. The grips are a rosewood. The action works fine. Barrel is marked; "Remington & Sons llion NY Riders Pat Aug 15th 1871.
