Description:
Mauser manufactured P38 SVW Variant in 9mm. The pistol is affectionatly known as the "Gray Ghost". Has a 5" barrel with a very good bore with shiny and strong lands and grooves. The left side of the slide is stamped "P.38" "SVW/45" and "3937 g" (serial number). The right side of the slide is stamped with a German military acceptance mark, "Eagle/WaA135" and a five pointed star just to the right. The matching serial number, "3937 g", is also stamped on the left side of the frame and on the front flat of the barrel, which is also stamped on the side with and "Eagle/WaA135" and a five pointed star. The locking lug is partialy stamped with the part of the serial number "937" and a five pointed star. There are no import marks on the pistol! Comes with two magazines, both are stamped "P38" on the left side near the bottom of the magazine, and one of the mags is stamped, "jvd" and "WaA703" on the backside, where the other has no other marks. The pistol also comes with an Interarms cardboard box in gray, black and white color scheme. The box is serialized to the pistiol, 3937 G. Inside the box are papers published by Interarms, instructionss for the P38, a Saftey Warning pamplete, and a sheet giving history of the "SVW" P38 "GRAY GHOST".
