Description:
Marlin Model 1894 Rifle fitted with a 20 inch full octagon barrel, 2/3 length tube magazine, and chambered in the 25-20 W.C.F. cartridge. The rifle retains about 60% of its original blue finish on the barrel and tube magazine, about 20% original color case-hardened finish on the frame, and about 40% on the lever. The bore is bright but there is one spot of corrosion about in the middle. The stock and forearm retain most all of their original finish, with assorted handling marks. It is mechanically sound and locks up tight. There have been 2 additional holes drilled and taped on top of the frame, most likely for a scope mount or frame monted peep sight.
