Smith & Wesson 1950 .44 Special caliber revolver. Scarce 5-screw pre-model 24 made around 1955. The barrel has been cut to 5”, a neat length, and the gun has been chrome plated. Has beautiful genuine stag grips. This gun could have belonged to a lawman. They had a penchant for customizing and glitzing up big bore revolvers. Bore and action are excellent.
