Description:
This is a Colt, 1977 Post War Single Action Army, . 45 LC, 7 ½ “ barrel, with one piece Mother of Pearl grips. It was Engraved by Master Engraver, Robert Virgil Graham, of Savannah, Georgia. Mr. Graham’s firearms were used in western movies like Desperado and The Quick and the Dead. He was a well known engraver who died in Jan. 2003. This gun features about 75% coverage of an elaborate scroll motif. Backstrap and trigger guard resemble Nimschke engraving more than anyone else’s work. The gun features a braid pattern of gold inlays with 18K gold stars on strap and grip. The cylinder has numerous gold inlays and several gold stars. A rose gold on the frame and rampart Colt motif and platinum inlays on the side. Gun has Full Blue finish. It is in a Presentation Wooden Box with Colt on the Lower right corner. Needless to say, it has never been fired nor the cylinder turned. Absolutely “Beautiful”.
