This rifle would make a great restoration project.The Lightning Slide Action Rifle in small frame configuration was chambered for .22 Short and Long.Approximately 90,000 were made between 1887 to 1904

Metal Condition: Virtually no original finish showing. All the metal is fading to a mottled brown patina with spots of rust and a number of dents and dings. Missing the top dust cover.
Wood Condition: The Slider wood is a replacement and is in very good condition. The butt stock shows its age with various scratches, gouges and dents.
Bore Condition: Pitted and in poor condition with over size chamber (unsafe to shoot)
