Description:

Scarce Argentine Cavalry Sabre. Manufactured by Weyersberg, Kirschbaum and Co. Solingen. Unground blade has the seal of Argentina and is marked Modelo 1898 and Sables de Caballeria (Cavalry sabres). Hilt and scabbard have matching numbers. Argentine crest is on the guard. This is a hard to find sabre and it has a 35” long. Quill back blade is in excellent polish. The hilt is excellent with no damage. Scabbard has no dents and has 98% blue. Overall it is in excellent condition. The correct leather portepee is attached. Very fine Argentine Cavalry Sabre.
