Offered for sale is a terrific Colt Bankers Special .22 caliber that is in the box and includes a factory letter. The gun remains in 98-99% condition and is mechanically perfect. It locks up tight and the bore is like new. The factory checkered walnut stocks remain in new condition and do not have any chips, cracks or dents. The box remains in excellent plus condition and does not have any corner breaks. It comes with the original Shooting Suggestions and Special Instruction sheets. Colt built less than a thousand of the Bankers .22 caliber revolvers and they are highly collectible. This gun was made in April of 1939 and shipped in October of the same year to Union City, New Jersey in a one gun shipment. The gun does not appear to have been fired much if at all. I offer a three day inspection on all of my guns and it will be packaged correctly with the gun being shipped in a zipper pouch and the factory box shipped inside of a larger carton.
