No returns Payment Types Accepted: Cashiers Checks, Wire Transfer,Cash (in person) Description: This is an extroidinary gun in all respects. It is in fine condition. It has 100% coverage of fine engraving, with profuse gold and silver inlays. Among its unusual features are straight groove rifling (J.W. Duncan patent 1875) also selector swithes on side plates for rebounding or non-rebounding hammers. I am not sure what the original intent was regarding the straight rifling. Ther is a trend among current manufacturers to make tubes with straight rifling. Among these is Briley and Hastings. The theory being that a smoothbore patterns better with the staight groove rifling. Regardless it is unique on a gun of this vintage. The gun has excellent dimensions and locks tight on the face. It has had a sensitive refurbishment at some time in the past. The wood is exhibition quality flame burl walnut. I believe this gun to be either a presentation gun, or perhaps the personal gun of J.W. Duncan himself. The gold eustcheon in the stock has the initials J.W. This gun has just arrived from england and is priced to sell! No FFL is required. I accept USA Postal money orders, certified bank checks, or wire transfers.
