Quality Consignments Wanted! The barrel date is 12-43. The carbine's serial number is 2393196. All the parts are correctly coded "U". The stock is marked GHD-UEF With Crossed Cannons. This is one of the nicest Underwood carbines I have seen in a very long time! The stock and forend are in very fine to almost unissued condition. This stock has very nice figured grain showing! The flat blued bolt shows little use. The military finish is very strong with no loss. The receiver has a "T" at it's base. This denotes a sub contracted receiver by Intertype Corp. This carbine shows no service use or wear. All the parts are correct for this serial range and time frame. This carbine would rate a 97% condition. The magazine is also correctly Underwood coded. The sling is the correct early style sling. This carbine will make a discriminating carbine collector proud ton own!
