Description:
Spencer Arms Company, Boaton, Mass. Made c1863-1865. 52 Caliber, seven shot magazine. Inspectors marks behind sling ber. Wood sound with no cracks, but has the usual dings from 150+ years of handling. There are three lines filed into the barrel in front of the forearm and front sight. Could be kill marks. A previous owner stamped his initials (?) on the side of the frame. Action is tight and functional. 22 " barrel with six grove rifling. Priced to sell.
