Description:
This Inland Carbine was produced in 1943. The Inland barrel is dated 5-43 The carbine's serial number is 727041. This carbine has been through the government rebuild program at some time in the past. This is not an Import carbine from overseas. The carbine now has a M2 stock and forend. The internal parts are G.I. issue but mixed makers. The sling is Korean war issue. The bore is bright and very good condition. The barrel has the type 3 bayonet lug barrel band. The front sight is original Inland The rear sight is the latter style stamped adjustable style. This carbine comes with 2, 30 round magazines,1 G.I. 1944 dated magazine pouch, 5, 15 round magazines and one 5 round magazine as part of the sale. This carbine is a great shooter grade carbine! This gun has not been refinished or shows sign of re parkerized finish. This makes this carbine also a possible restoration project due to the low serial number and not being refinished.
