This is a fine near mint museum condition WWII Air Force flare signal gun.It is the cleanest one I have ever seen. Made by the Eurica Vaccum Cleaner Company for the Air Force It could be fired through the side of a military aircraft through a special port that allowed the locking lugs on the barrel to engage the frame of the aircraft. It could of course be used on the ground as well amd could fire a variety of 40 mm ordnance. It was also used by WWII Naval air crews.
