British Double Rifle, .58 caliber percussion, 22 inch barrel, sn 7052. Marked Henry Tatham, London. Henry Tatham and Joseph Egg are recorded as Gunmakers and Sword Cutlers to King George 111 at 37 Charing Cross Road between 1805 and 1814. Cased pair of Henry Tatham pistols is advertised for $19,950. Fine condition, finely engraved, full coverage. All original except for replaced right hammer and percussion nipples. Good bores, fully functioning. I shoot a light .58 caliber Minie ball. Sweet piece of British rifle history.
