Colt New House Model Revolver - Cal. .38 CF - 2 1/4" Bbl. - 5 -shot - SN 13474(1882) - matching on frame and cylinder. Perfect bore and chambers - excellent action with perfect bore and lock-up. Excellent metal with no rust, pits, or corrosion - barrel and cylinder retain 85% to 90% original l nickel finish - frame and backstrap 95% with sharp, crisp markings - hammer and screws retain all of the original nitre blue. Hard rubber grips are undamaged, have perfect fit to frame and have sharp checkering and logo. Only about 4000 of this model were made 1880-1886 and it was a popular pocket revolver in the early West. This is one of the best New House models that I have seen in recent years - all original and in EXCELLENT+ condition - a super example of a scarce early Colt CF revolver that will make a great collectible.
