Dural is an alloy which contributes to the light weight of the gun. The scalloped receiver has full coverage, deeply shaded oak leaf scroll engraving over a satin silver color. this scroll engraving continues to the steel operating lever. The pistol grip stock is from straight grain, European walnut and features a shadowline cheekpiece and splinter forearm. The barrels retain 95% of the original blue and have minor scratches along their length. The forearm and stock have useful checkering on the grip surfaces and the overall finish look respectable even with evidence of use in brush and the woods. The carved horn trigger guard has a hairline crack along the right side. The bores are excellent, and the operating mechanism is crisp & sure. This is a light weight, well balanced firearm that would be suitable for most game or to carry when you are not sure what you might run into.
