Nicely grained American black walnut is used for the classic, pistol grip stock. These actions resemble the Winchester Model 70 in function but are designed to keep the total weight of the gun to only 5 1/2 lbs. the metal surfaces retain 99% of the original blue, the bore is bright, the action is very smooth and the stock shows only a few minor marks from use. This gun would be easy to carry all day for multi-purpose use.
