BROWNING SIDELOCK SHOTGUN ... 12 gauge ... 26" chopper lump barrels ... choked SK/LtMod ... R.005/L.014...weight 6 lbs 8 oz ... LOP 14 3/8" to front trigger ... drop comb 1 1/2" ... drop heel 2 3/8" ... cast off 1/4" ... double triggers ... ejectors. Manufactured in 1987 by Miroku in Japan.
The coin finish receiver has game scene engraving of quail on the right, pheasants on the left and flying ducks on the bottom. Light sea shell scroll engraving surrounds these scenes and continues to the operating lever and trigger guard. Honey colored, California walnut is used for the straight grip English stock and splinter forearm. 24LPI checkering covers the forearm, the grip and the butt plate. Nicely carved dropper points decorate behind the sidelocks. The Gloss finish has very minor handling marks, the bores look like a brand new gun, the blue on the barrels is 99%+ and the coin finish is excellent.
