RANGER BOLT ACTION RIFLE ... 7mm RemMag caliber ... 25 1/2" round barrel ... weight 9 lbs 12 oz with scope ... LOP 13 3/4" over 3/4" ventilated recoil pad ... hinged floor plate ... trigger pull set at 6 lbs 2 oz ... polished bolt with pressure ports ... sling swivel studs. Manufactured in the early 1970s.
Very nice, feathercrotch, California walnut was selected for this upgraded stock. There is a Monte Carlo cheekpiece and a flared pistol grip. The forend tip and the grip cap are contrasting rosewood with a white line spacer. Hand cut skipline checkering covers the grip surfaces. This gun includes a Redfield 4x12x scope with Redfield Jr mounts.
This gun started out as an upgrade model and it has lead a sheltered life. The bore is like new, action is crisp, scope is excellent, bluing and stock condition would be 98%. This gun comes with a certificate of excellence (defining the materials used) which is signed by the company president. This package could not be replaced today for 3 times this price.
