ON HOLD!! Bought this from my friend Brian Akins. His description follows: "Richmond Armory Confederate Carbine with beautiful lock plate. This Richmond Armory Confederate Carbine has a working action. The Richmond Carbine lock plate is Rebel Strong. The original stock and barrel are also Richmond. The stock was damaged and cut back. The alteration was cut back to the barrel band. There is also a pewter nose cap added. There is no shortage of period documents showing alterations and repairs. The butt plate is iron and stamped “US”. Once again parts from Harpers Ferry and salvaged parts were used. I have pictured pages from the Confederate Carbine Book. Explaining all this, just in case you do not have the books. The stock is solid with rear sling swivel. The trigger guard is also solid with sling swivel. The barrel has correct proofs and long range site. The site is not Richmond made in my opinion. This Richmond Armory Confederate Carbine displays great."
41 inches total length. Long range rear sight needs to be attached to the Carbine but will leave that to the future owner. Try getting a Richmond rifle or carbine for anything close to this price.
