Description:
Winchester Model 1890 in 22 Short with 24" long octagonal barrel. My father bought this rifle in the 1940's and has been essentially unused since 1950 with little use prior to that. This is a lightly used rifle that works very well. The bore is clean and looks good to me. The finish is nice & rust free however, the octagonal barrel and receiver have lost most of their blueing. Stock and forearm are original and without cracks or repairs. The serial number is 129307 which I believe to be a 1902 mfg date.
This is a fine and pleasurable rifle for plinking!
