The color case hardened frame is engraved with game scenes of 2 rabbits on the left, flushing pheasants on the right, partridges on the bottom and a flying duck on the trigger guard. Open scroll engraving surrounds these scenes and continues to the extra long tang, operating lever and the forearm latching hardware. Turkish walnut with an oil finish is used for the English straight grip stock and splinter forearm. Multipoint checkering has been hand cut into both grip areas.
The bores are excellent, bright and shiny and the action is tight. The color case has faded to about 50%, the wood rates very good to excellent with a few use marks and the barrels retain 90%+ of the original blue. Call with any questions and see our other listings for ... "Only the best!"
