Description:
This is an extroidinary example of a Heavy Wildfowl Shotgun. These large bore guns were usually of plain quality and often are in poor condition. This is a high grade gun in excellent condition retaining 95% of its original finishes. The gun is embellished with near full coverage engraving. The European walnut stock is highly figured.
Bores are excellent and checkering is sharp. Locks are crisp. Ramrod is original.
Barrels are 32 & 1/2 inches. Weight is 9&1/2 pounds. High quality Damascus Barrels with Belgium proof marks.
Gold inlay on rib and breech. engraved blow plugs.
This would make a great "Turkey gun" or have fun at Vintage Sporting Clay.
