Civil War Era Henry Deluxe Engraved Rifle
  • 44 Henry rimfire caliber
  • 24" barrel
  • Engraved by renound Winchester factory engraver L.D. Nimschke
  • Profusely engraved action and side plates
  • Left side of action has a pointer dog in full point with scroll and floral engraving
  • Top of action has floral and scroll engraving on all three bevels
  • Right side of action has scroll and floral engraving
  • Butt stock has scroll and floral engraving on butt plate top
  • Engraved upper tang
  • Lots of traces of blue remaining on barrel, magazine tube, screws, action parts, ejector, and sight
  • Deluxe walnut stock with inlayed wood at wrist on each side
  • All matching numbers verified
  • Very slick action
  • Very bright and shiny bore with lands and grooves
  • Barrel also has Henry sling attachment & so does butt stock
  • Magazine operation very smooth
  • Dual rear ladder sight graduated out to 800 yards
  • RARE Oliver Winchester inspection mark "W" on bottom action tang
  • Barrel address is "HENRY'S PATENT OCT.16.1860 MANUFACT'D BY THE NEW HAVEN ARMS CO NEW HAVEN, CT"
