Description:
Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine .44-40. The serial number of this example is 1421XX placing date of manufacture in 1896. Overall condition is very good with the original factory finish toned to a very nice blue/gray even patina. The bore is very good. The bore is shiny from breech to muzzle. The rifling is strong and free of damage. The bore will rate an 8 on a 1 to 10 scale. The action is mechanically perfect. The stock is void of damage and shows no evidence of sanding.
