Original and correct to the factory letter Extra lightweight 1886 22" short rifle in the desirable 45-70 Cal. Shotgun butt with rubber butt plate, 22" nickel steel round barrel. Full magazine, This one has the close coupled AKA double set trigger that is functional. The bore is above average. The barrel retains 80% give or take original finish, the balance of the gun as faded silver and has the desirable old time look IMHO. Wood fit is very good but shows wear to contact points. A very desirable well motioned 1886. The serial number was applied in April of 1898 making it an Antique.
