Identified in Ray Riley's The Powder Flask Book, pages 287 and 290 (figure #355). Manufactured by the American Flask & Cap Company, in NYC, (c.1857-1870). 7 1/2"x3 1/2"x1/ 14". "Shell & Bush" design on both faces. Copper and brass construction. Intact eyelets, collar screws and side seams. Intact and fully functional spring activated dispensing nozzle. A nice example.
