Description:
Standard configuration Winchester 1873 rifle with 24 inch round barrel and full mag with rifle style butt. This is the desirable 44 WCF caliber gun that "Won the West". Receiver has a pleasing plum/brown patina with blue in the protected areas. Barrel and mag tube are a brown/gray color. Bore is a bit dirty with light roughness. Front sight has a small slit cut in the top. No idea what that is for. Crisp action. Good fitting wood with just the usual handling mars. A good looking honest gun form 1888 with plenty of years of life left in it!
