#2155 Bacon Arms “Flush Fitted Recoil Shield” single shot derringer, side swing 4”x32RF barrel. Some very fine pitting on the brass portion, smooth barrel metal (both barrel and frame being factory engraved). VG bore and tight action, grips with just average wear …and a piece of tape holding them on. I have not tried removing the tape to see WHY it is there, but it does not appear that the grips are broken. Pretty scarce little pocket gun made in the early to mid 1860s with only 800 of this particular variation produced, and this is a VG/VG+ engraved specimen. $245
