Description:
Serial #732038, .300 Savage, 24” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a '60s era rifle that has retained 85-90% of the original blue with silvering at the muzzle, as well as some hints of mild freckling along the breech-end of the barrel, and gray fading along the bottom of the frame. The lever has about 70-75% of the original color case-hardening remaining. The checkered walnut forend and pistol grip buttstock rate fine condition with small handling marks scattered across the wood. The rifle still has its original iron sights installed, but a Center-Point 4-16x scope with Mil-Dot reticle is also fitted, as is a brown leather sling. This is a nice deer rifle, and rates very good-near fine condition overall. FFL
