Description:
Browning Pointer Grade 12 gauge round knob, long tang, O/U shotgun made in 1963. The Pointer Grade was made to be between the Pigeon and the Diana and because there wasn’t enough difference to command many sales there were not a lot of Pointers made, consequently they are scarce and collectable. This gun has 30” vent rib barrels are factory chambered for 2 3/4" & 3" shells with chokes marked IC/M and measure .015" & .020"..I suspect that this gun was originally a IM/F and was sent back to Browning to have the chokes opened and to be restamped. This gun was engraved by Spiegel and it has been completely, professionally refinished. The stock has a 14 3/8” LOP over a newer 1” Browning recoil pad, 1 ½” DAC and 2 3/8” DAH with neutral cast. Gun weighs 8 lbs.l5 oz.
