WW2 WWII SPRINGFIELD U.S. M-1 OR M1 GARAND .30-06 RIFLE WITH CMP BOX & CERT. Serial number "3087XXX" which puts receiver in the early 1945 (possible Battle of the Bulge). Barrel stamped "S-A-8-51" for 1951. Typical CMP rework with parkerized receiver. Stock with wrist stamped "P" and over stamp with "P/ small 2" and "BA" in rect. Box on left cheek(BA stands for Benecia Arsenal in California where post WW2 overhaul was done. Excellent stock overall. Mint bore and perfect working order as well as being tackdriver. Accompanied by CMP box, packing material, certificate(COA) with original CMP purchasers name and CMP receipt. USGI sling with rack number in white paint on metal. Received directly from CMP purchaser whose had it since 1998 when he ordered it and dated so on COA.
