Personal Check with hold Description: Tis is a very nice collectible Sharps Single Shot Pistol, Small Frame , First Model,.31 Caliber. Has a 5" barrel, with a strong five grooved, barrel. Bore shows some corrosion from black powder. Metal is all brown to plum patina. Light freckling on some areas. Action is strong and everything works like it should. Has pin front sight and groove rear sight. Has a single adjustible trigger. Has Walnut grips with a lot of original varnish remaining. Grips show handling marks but are solid with no losses. Serial number #429 is marked on lever It is, also marked, in an oval panel, on left sidplate: "SHARPS PATENT / ARMS MFRD / FAIR MOUNT / PHILA. PA. ". These were made for only one year.
