Sold / Pending Funds F.B. Radom G29/40 "German Capture Kreigsmarine Marked" Rifle, This is a German re-worked F.B. Radom 1939 rifle, serial # 5403 b, cal. 8mm Mauser, with a 24" barrel and a very good bore that shows light peppery pitting throughout with strong rifling. The metal surfaces on this rifle are starting to turn to a brown patina with scattered traces of the original blue finish. The laminated stock rates very good with a faint "M" for Kreigsmarine marking along with a letter "N" engraved on the stock disc, a 3" scratch on right side under rear sight, a couple abrasions, scattered dings and handling marks. The receiver is marked both with original Radom markings and a "660" Steyr code. The bolt is mismatched but the bolt components are matching to each other and all other visible parts are matching to the receiver. The Polish "Wz" rifle designation has been lined out and "29/40" has been added by the Germans and the parts are marked with "WaA/623" and "WaA77" Waffenamts. A leather sling is included with this rifle. This is a hard to find rifle that will make a great addition to any Military Collection and it’s in good plus plus - very good condition. Inv.: # 2-1741
