British Double Rifle, .58 caliber percussion, 22" barrels. Marked, Henry Tatham, London. Henry Tatham and Joseph Egg are recorded as Gunmakers and Sword Cutlers to George III at 37 Charing Cross Rd between 1801 and 1814. Finely engraved, full coverage. Good bores and fully functioning. Shoots a .58 cal patched ball or a .58 cal Minie ball. Beautiful rare rifle!
