Description:
Ruger 77 RL, Mk I, .243 bolt action rifle. The lightweight RL has a 20” tapered barrel, no iron sights and a walnut stock that is tapered in the front, capped with an ebony tip and the stock is drilled to further reduce the weight. And the Mk I is noted for the two position tang safety where you can operated the bolt in the “safe” position. This rifle was fitted with a 5/8” thick full leather covered recoil pad making the LOP 13 5/8”. Weighs 7 lbs. 2 oz. including the Leupold VX-II 3-9x50 matte finished scope and factory Ruger rings. This nice little rifle has been hunted with; the metal finishes are 95-97% with a few small paint chips on the alloy trigger guard. The wood shows the most handling with number of “rubs” and light scratches, especially on the left side. Overall a very nice, lightweight hunting rifle.
