Description:
Serial #36293, .442 CF, 2 1/2” barrel 6 shot with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome “THE TOWER BULL DOG” marked revolver that has retained about 70-75% of the original bright blue, that has flaked to a dark plum-brown patina, mostly on the frame, and the trigger guard retains a similar amount of original blue with some gray fading along the outside of the bow. The left side of the frame has a Toronto Police marking: “TPF/32”. The checkered walnut grip is in fine shape with some mild flattening of the points and a few minor handling marks in the oil finish. The butt cap is not equipped for mounting a lanyard swivel, correct for this model. The revolver lock-up is very good and the action functions flawlessly. This is an excellent example of a police-used, R.I.C.
