Description:
The Marlin Model 90 Over/Under Shotgun was made from 1937 to 1958, it has the distinction of being the only O/U shotgun ever manufactured by Marlin. The guns were fitted with either 26, 28 or 30 inch barrels (guns made from 1937 to 1949 had vented barrels, those after did not), single or double triggers, boxlock design, extractors, checkered pistol grip stock and forearm, and were chambered in either 12, 16, 20, or .410 Gauge. This gun is as described and is fitted with 28 inch barrels, double triggers, 14 1/2 inch LOP to forward trigger, and is 16 gauge. The gun retains about 95% of its original blue finish, with thinning on the bottom of the trigger guard, receiver and some sharp edges. The stock and forearm retain most of their original finishes, with assorted minor handling marks. The plastic butt-plate is sound and fits well. Even the Marlin "Target" is still on the bottom of the stock. The bores are bright and the action function good, with tight lock-up.
