Original Maynard Lock for Model 1855 Rifle-Musket:
This is a fully functional, all original and complete Maynard lock. System specific notched hammer. Clear "1858" and "U.S, Springfield" stampings. All that and the door is intact and swings open and closed! Tough to find one in this condition (and at this price) if you are building a gun from mixed original and repro parts. Also a nice show and tell conversation piece for the period collector.
