Description:
 REMINGTON RB 1891 TARGET PISTOL FULL NICKEL SPECIAL ORDER
Serial # 326.   This full nickel, special order piece or prototype has the frame marking, E. REMINGTON & SONS, ILION, NY, is the pistol covered on pages 204-05 & page 208 in Jerry Landskron’s book,”REMINGTON ROLLING BLOCK PISTOLS”.  The frame address indicates production before 1888.  It is serial number 326, full nickel plate with an unmarked light weight 10” oct barrel in caliber 22 Short and wears a rocky mtn rear and knife blade front sights.  Grip is an exc fit (mis-matched # as stated in the book ) and forend are in VG+ condition showing some handling marks with no wood loss.  The original nickel is 96% on the receiver and near 80% on the barrel with the loss flaked on left side of the barrel.  Bore is worn with thinned but distinct rifling.  This is a truly unique piece in great condition.   TRADE ?
