Description:
Marlin / Glenfield 778's have hardwood furniture. Unusual gun marked "Glenfield 778" but looks like "Model 120 Deluxe" with cut checkering and high polish blue. 28" barrel, 3" chamber, modified choke, double bead VR, Ventilated recoil pad with field deminisons on buttstock. Parkerized receiver top, high polish blue on remainder of gun. Serial # 198XXXX dates this gun 1981 manufacture. May have been a store gun manufacture but for who I don't know. Stocks appear to to factory mounted as this gun doesnt show any tampering on forearm retaining ring and no shadow lines at same or on buttstock as previously mounted stocks may show . Hard to answer to high polish blue as the 778 didn't have this available. Possible changed out walnut even though it appears not. Some frecking of receiver that covers left side with graying spots. Right side shows 2 areas, one by ejection port and one on very rear near buttstock. Extremely smooth action. Works and shoots properly.
