High Standard pump action 12 gauge shotgun for 2 3/4 inch shells with cylinder bore 18 1/8 inch barrel. Full length tubular magazine holds seven shells. Tang on the bottom rear of receiver filed down to accommodate Remington 870 folding stocks. Blueing is in very good condition for a fifty year old firearm. Wood is in excellent condition. The Law Enforcement Assistance Program (LEAP) tested various shotguns, including the Remington 870, the Winchester 1200 and the Ithaca 27, and the hands-down winner was this High Standard K1200 shotgun, This is the same model shotgun used by Steve McQueen in the movie "The Getaway".
