A beautiful lightweight Mauser single square bridge action rifle in the venerable 7 x 57 Mauser cartridge. One of the best handling guns I have ever held. Gun only weighs 7 1/4 pounds total. Fantastic dimensions on nicely figured English walnut, capped pistol grip and quick taper forend stock with a beautiful rosewood tip. 14 1/8" LOP to front trigger over horn buttplate. Double set triggers work flawlessly. One standing leaf sight for 100 yards and a single folding leaf for 200 yards. Barrel band front sling swivel attachment. 24 1/2" barrel length. Rifling is crisp and bright.
This is a fantastic vintage gun for North American or plains game. Priced below what a single square bridge action would sell for today.
